NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS. If you live in a cold area and the Larvae are not moving when your package arrives, place them under a heat lamp or in a warm area 78+ degrees for 15-20 minutes after arrival. Black soldier fly larvae can enter a dormant state when they experience cold temperatures. If you live in a hot area please watch your tracking information and be ready to receive your larvae so they do not die from the heat.
How to keep your larvae alive after arrival!
You will receive your larvae in small tubs, each containing 500+ fresh larvae.
The substrate they are in is a mixture of coconut husk. This substrate is safe for reptiles and black soldier fly larvae.
Once the larvae arrive, they should last for two to three weeks after delivery.
Keep the Larvae in a dark and cool place, and close the lid tightly after each use! Please do not put them in the freezer. If you want to preserve them longer, place them in a temp-controlled refrigerator at 40+ degrees Fahrenheit. Please note that these are live larvae and if kept to long they will turn into black soldier flies. The flies are completely harmless and can still be great treats for your pet.
